Account & Data Deletion Request Policy

In-App Self-Service:

1. Open the LocateFox app on your device.
2. To delete specific item/container records: Navigate to the item or space details page, tap the Edit / Manage menu, and select Delete (删除).
3. To unbind physical NFC/QR tags: Go to tag management and select Unbind Tag (解绑标签).
4. All selected item photos, custom descriptions, and hardware UUID mappings are immediately and irreversibly purged from our Firestore cloud database.

Email Request: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Partial Data Deletion Request" specifying the email linked to your account and the specific categories or records you wish to erase.

In-App Self-Service:

1. Open the LocateFox app.
2. Tap the Profile / Settings (我的/设置) tab in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Navigate to Account & Security (账户安全).
4. Tap Delete Account (注销账户) at the bottom.
5. Confirm the action. Your authentication credentials, profile, household group links, and all inventory records will be immediately destroyed.

Email Request: If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and your registered email address. Your account and all associated records will be permanently wiped within 7 business days.
